Collages Part Two

I have been in a bit of a creative funk lately. I pushed myself through the home building choices and the furnishings and now I am feeling depleted. So my walls are bare and the details that finish a home are languishing. But I have been around long enough to know that creative inspiration should not be rushed. Or I will find myself unhappy and broke living with decisions that I forced upon myself.

I was really hoping to spark interest in shooting last week while I was at the beach. It was busy and hot and visiting with out of town family was my priority. I know what works every time and that is travel to new locations. Then it flows back into me naturally. The only downside is I find myself rusty the first couple of days . . . struggling to see the beauty unfold through my lens. So I will try to plan a few local outings in the next month or two to shake off the rust before I travel again . . . hopefully this fall.

Meanwhile, I dug back into some of my previous images to create a couple of collages of two trips I took last year. It is so fun revisiting my library and remembering the moments that I captured and the beauty I experienced.
