Curating Images into Collages

Telling my story one image at a time has always been my mantra. Lately though - as I have been working to improve my photography for over ten years now - I am challenging myself to create and collect bodies of work instead of single images. Below I curated the collages from old images based on dominant image colors - blue for left 3x3 grid and orange for right 3x3 grid. I have been color coding certain images for a while now to plan out my Instagram posts into a somewhat cohesive insta grid for my second account @markey.joanne.

I have also added a few personal projects here on my website with groups of images as I lean into this storytelling mode. I think it will strengthen my images to use story threads woven across multiple images. But I am certain I will start to appreciate the details as much as the beauty in the grand landscapes I have always loved to capture.
