Portraits of a Working Bay

Apalachicola is a small charming fishing town on the Florida Panhandle. I love to stroll through the lovely waterfront parks and along the docks of the local marinas to catch a glimpse of the hard working bay. On this particular winter morning, the sun had just risen and the temperature was barely above freezing. But there was no wind and the water was like glass. All was calm and quiet and basically closed down for the holidays.

I have been thinking and reading about creating a collection or body of work instead of taking multiple individual images. This was my first attempt at working to tell a story through a series of images. All images below were taken the morning after Christmas 2022 at the Scipio Creek Marina at Mill Pond.
